Your first step will be a complimentary 20-minute care consult—a chance for you and your counsellor to connect, explore whether it feels like a good fit, and see if your schedules align. If you decide to move forward together, your initial session will focus on building trust and rapport, getting to know one another, and discussing your goals for counselling in a safe, supportive space.
Direct billing to insurance providers is not currently offered at Elivi Wellness. Clients are responsible for payment at the time of their session and can then seek reimbursement through their extended health benefits. While many providers do cover services from registered therapeutic counsellor candidates, coverage can vary. It’s a good idea to contact your insurance provider directly to confirm if services are covered under your plan.
Elivi Wellness Counselling Services supports individuals aged 13 and up, with a primary focus on young adults.
Counselling sessions are offered online through a secure video platform, as well as in person at Taylormade Wellness in Salmon Arm.
